EXCITEMENT, EMOTIONS and NOSTALGIA, LET THE PLANNING BEGIN

But where do you start? How do you approach the planning for your big day? The venue, the dress, the photographer or the wedding invitations?

The venue, the dress and the photographer have been the traditional starting points for many couples in the past and while these are still important, todays couple are taking a slightly different approach. They are not opting for the pre-packaged banquet that we are familiar with. Instead they are choosing a more intimate bash that is uniquely them. The theme or styling is now the focus, and the dress, stationery, venue decor, photography and even the food take their respective design cues from these.

Online wedding sites and blogs offer a world of inspiration. You can find wonderful guides on everything wedding related and you can check out some amazing real weddings. As you browse through these and find something that is of interest to you, then most offer you the ability to pin those images or ideas to your own Pinterest board (if you don’t have a Pinterest board, check out our how to guide).
